Sunday 9-11-22 marked the 21st anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. It’s known as the deadliest terrorist attacks on American soil in U.S. history. For those that lived through that horrible day will recall how tragic it was to watch the shocking airplane attacks against New York City and Washington, D.C. causing extensive death and destruction.
This day turned many people into instant American Heroes that UPB will celebrate. One such man is Todd Beamer that was aboard United Airlines Flight 93. Once He heard of the tragic unfolding events gathered a group of courageous men and stormed the cockpit of the hijacked plane which resulted in a deadly crash for all - but saving countless others from the hijackers' intended victims. Thank you to these brave men.
At UPB, we pray for all the individuals, families and friends that were harmed and continue to be impacted by this horrible event. We honor the memory of these great American heroes like Todd Beamer and many others that gave it all to save. In the words of Todd, "Let's Roll".
